Good call on not swapping it. I drove around in one with Mini Mania's largest stroker motor and it was perfect for the car. Any swap is too much power for front wheel drive (massive torque steer). The wheel base is too short for rear wheel drive. Great car with the built factory motor.

Thanks guys. I've wanted one for a long time, and was debating on whether to buy another e30 to do a motor swap on, or buying a Mini. The next day my girlfriend found this car on craigslist and it was local.

Yeah, the only ones that are cheaper than that are beaters that don't run. With the upgraded motor, suspension, brakes, new carpet kit, new chrome bumpers, grills, and many other parts, I couldn't say no.
