i believe he said they were like that as he bought them but just a observation.

oh the wheel to fender gap is a bit much for the 15's though i would go with a drop or bigger wheels soon

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm definitely leaning towards doing them in a silver when the time comes.

Keep in mind this was a test run and I never took them apart or anything.
When the time does come I hope to add new wider lips and paint them legit.

Silver looks the best. I think a dark bronze would be cool too.

That's awesome... How do you smoke the tires like that? I've always wondered. Was it hard to take your hand off the wheel? Couldn't you lose control?

Man, those are some beautiful wheels. I, too, prefer the silver centers; it's a much more clean/factory look.

I love the silver. From someone that has been dead set on black centers:

I say go for the silver centers. They look GREAT!!

Finally got a break from the 100+ heat the last few days so I got around to washing them and got a few pics.

Here is the condition I got them in:

Here is one wheel after I decided to paint the center metallic silver:

And next to a red one for reference:

Found out after messing with several different center caps I had around that the 14" stock basketweave cap and the Mazda FC RX7 15" BBS caps are dimensionally the same as the RS 15" caps.
Just the caps though not the hexnut, although with RS hex's they would work and secure as intended.

BMW 14" basketweave on the LEFT and 15" Mazda FC RX7 on the RIGHT:

Wasn't sure if I wanted to rock silver or black so I painted one of each:

    Mounted :

Yeah so presently I'm rocking two different colors as I couldn't decide between the black or silver.
Ordinarily I'm not a fan of black centered wheels as they just tend to disappear but since I have black accents with the spoilers and mirrors I thought it might flow.

Thoughts or suggestions on wheel color appreciated.

P.S. Yes of course I know this car needs a drop ......but its NEVER gonna get any mods as long as I own it. :hitler:

I bet whoever paid out their ass for that concrete really appreciates you doing that to it.
Nice middle finger too. You seem to act a lot younger than you look.

Nice find on the wheels! The red matches your car pretty well.
