I'm very pleased with them. I liked the DEPO's, but I'd had enough. The OEM look is very refreshing to me :)

^Thanks man. You're right, It's way more work than I thought.

A little update on SIMMONS I just read

Simmons Wheels wish to announce that from 30th June 2009 and due to the retirement of the owner, they have ceased manufacture of their range of custom 3 piece wheels.

        :puppy:

They're only going up in value now..

Not really. The tooling and what-not have been sold off so they'll continue on in another form.

If they do continue to be made, it will be by someone else, under a different name. Orriginal Simmons Wheels are only going to go up in value. Either way, I hope someone does reproduce the wheel designs. I really like the B45's as well.

The name was up for sale as well, last I heard.

Original Simmons rims will go up in value, but don't think they'll become a gold mine - people said the same thing about Tasman rims. I unfortunately didn't have enough cash in the bank to bid on a set of 4 very cheap 16" V5s on eBay yesterday :(

The rubber was actually shit when I got it (just recently). I wet sanded it from 800 > 1200 and used a rubber restorer and it came up much better. I just painted the insert satin black for now. I'll colour code it when I paint the rest of the kit.
