Snapped up: clean lachssilber 89 325is

Just picked this up today to replace my totaled Henna eta coupe. 155K, black leather, clean body, looks to have been imported to the US with about 15k miles according to the owners manual service stamps :)

Nice, I like it better than what it replaced. What did you end up doing about the henna?

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Look for me to start posting next week in parts for sale. Gonna part out everything I can except for my suspension and wheels. The car was an awesome driver and regularly pulled about 27 mpg on the highway, head is good, driveline rebuilt by Portland driveline with less than 20k on it, etc. Goooood parts car.

Paid 5300. The PO was a fanatic and sold it to the owner of Sportscar Restoration in Plainville CT...lotsa e30 and e21's there but they're primarily known for their 2002 restorations. Most of their staff drives e30's though

Will do. If you need help with anything let me know. I'm looking for seats on the cheap side because my old comfort seats are ripping more and more every day. But if yours are in great shape and you have a buyer who will pay more, do the latter.

I asked in the other thread when you totaled it, but are you the guy who commutes to Vernon for work? I know there was another E30 member that did that.

My seats are ok functionally, some cloth is cruchy in the back seat but its all there. Drivers seat is torn up but comfortable, pass seat is very clean. Black/gray Checkerd cloth sports seats. Call me at 860 716 7442 if you want to discuss any parting needs.

I'm not the e30 commuter...lol, wish I were...I lost my job the day after memorial day
