i know EXACTLY what you mean with the heat and no AC. mine dosnt work and it sucks not haveing anything. I have to always have my windows down lol

Alright.... Everyone's govin me a hard time about the freakin hoses, so here's the deal... I'd much prefer black silicon, but I got the set for free in exchange for letting Hi Performance use my car to model a 325is Silicon kit after.... They wanted to take pics for advertising and black doesn't show up all that well... So red was the next best thing... Guess I could buy a black kit from them? lol

But, I'm about to put a set of red 8mm performance spark wires on and a black wrinkle finish valve cover. We'll see how the hoses look after that and go from there. Get a little more color in that engine bay and see how it looks. hahah....

Any more bashes on my gay free hoses? haha

i laugh when ever i see a 325is that is from the US, because all 325is in australia came with m-tech 2 kits as standard :P

Easy solution:

Ask Hi Performance for a black hose kit at a discount -- "cost" would be best. I imagine you can do this as they maybe still owe you a favor for your time/trouble.

Once you've bought the black kit at cost, install it and sell your nearly new red kit on eBay. Since it's almost new, and you paid "cost" for the black kit, you should about break even dollar-wise.

BTW, even with red plug wires, the hoses will look like shit. They're just ricer-tacky, period.

If I were going to look at an e30 for sale that had colored hoses, I'd look a hell of a lot closer at the rest of the car after seeing the hoses. Makes me instantly think that the owner is a ricer.
