    Hi Andre,

Yes its me .... thanks for the kind words. I'm more than a little PO'd but the car will be fixed. I saw your posting ... congrats on the sale

If this happened to either of my 240's there would have been bloodshed.

You going to the Glen this year?

Member Kingb pulled some e30 touring interior parts for me from a German wrecker. Try contacting him. Too bad, the touring got crushed before he could scrounge up more parts. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/member.php?u=18421

Touring Tragedy - was rear ended and need help!!

    Hi Everyone,

I attendended the Pittsburgh Vintage Festival this past week end - great event, lots of BMW eye candy.

Unfortunately my 325 Touring was rear ended - by a freind no less - it was an unfortunate accident, that now I need to deal with. My insurance company seems to be OK (for the moment) and is willing to throw money at the car. I live very close to Legendary Motor Car (speed tv's Dream Car Garage) who refered me to a body shop with the pulling equipment to do the fix. I think the car is in good hands, and will be fixed correctly.

The dealership will bring in the new parts they can - but - some items are no longer available.

I'm hoping that I can get some help from this community with connections overseas to source some of the harder to find pieces. The rear hatch part number still seems to exist, but not sure if available; the inner compartment doors were cracked - they show up on e-bay occasionally, but, unfortunately take a beating. Theres a number of little bits that are Touring specific.... really what I'm probably going to need is a reputable wrecker overseas that won't bend me over because I'm in North America that will take the time to pull nice, decent parts, pack them properly and ship them accordingly.

Can anyone help?? Once we get into the fix, I can post more specifics on parts req'd.

Thanks everyone, have a look at the pics ... brings a tear to my eyes...
