Ok, I can accept that - though I don't think the rounded lines of the e36 dash work in the e30.

but for God's sake - the paint!!!!!!

    sad. really sad.

And man, is it weird that an e36 dashboard looks older and more dated than an e30 unit? I'm so used to the simpler and cleaner unit that the Ti has that I don't pay much attention to the "standard" e36 piece, but jesus, it looks like something out of an 80's toyota.

        Stance Monkeys?

Apparently I am not even stanced and I posted the pictures. And Matt could give a damn about stance. I don't think much of SW even likes me because I express my opinion, not in the manner of 'shopping with your girlfriends'.

Can't even enjoy an e30 w/ S52, ground controls at a proper ride height?

Odd that the 80s toyota actually looks more like e30. I mean look at the 89 Celica dash. Same shape over the cluster minus it is wider with more gauges.

Early 80s definitely looks JUST like an e36...

                +1 for the hard work
                -1 for the dash

I can appreciate the work someone does to a car to make it different or make it how they like, but the e30 dash is what really makes the interior for me. Everything angled toward the driver and such, the lines of the dash. I think an e30 dash is one a my favorites out of any car period, its just comfortable. You should try swapping and e30 dash into an e36 ;).

Hilarity ensues everytime someone post an e30 that doesn't have Koseis, H&R sports and OEM Sport seats.

Why are you getting all huffy and puffy? I am glad you believe your euro bumper swapped e30 is just so awesome that you can look down on everyone elses work and their car.

So you can get internet lulz with your witty replies?

Is that the bridge to James Island? I know I've been on that one many times before...nice car, but like others I'd love to see some real paint on it. Very nice overall.

I don't mind the E36 dash at all. It's not like most people don't put in E36 stereos and window switches in their E30. He just took it a step further, and kept ODBII. Granted the car still needs some finishing touches, it still has lots of goodies.

I think the car/dash is pretty cool, I would have been pretty interested in buying this car when it was for sale if I had sold my e34. The flat black is an eyesore, but I'm sure the car performs nicely enough to back it up.

Your right, a s52 swapped e30 with an e36 dash swap with working climate control is ruining the e30 scene, because wait for it.... it has temporary paint. I am commenting on the fact that R3V is so fucking closed minded they now shun members who do useful upgrades to their cars. Its OK though Trey, based on the past, when we meet you are going to come tell me how nice my car is, and then apologize to me. You can win on the internet, in real life your still just a nervous little boy.
