    Hi guys
    I'm in France near Paris.

here are some picts of my 323i e30.
the pictures were taken few days after i bought the car, it is dirty.

    Other pictures go come.

the 323 with my former Peugeot 309gti (a fantastic rider)

And a mod i'd like to do :

    other picts on http://323i.e30.free.fr

ps : i'm curious, someone can point me out a thread showing how to fit e36M3's seats on a E30.

    Thanks.

(sorry for my english and the mistakes i may have made.)

It needs a little tender loving care in some areas, just like many other e30s. I agree on the bottlecaps, they'd look more appealing black.

Nice 323i, kinda off topic but do you know alot about the m20b23 cause if you do I have a few questions but I'll pm you about them. I like the bottlecaps black too I think all silver cars should hace black rims with silver lips it just looks hot.

How do you get away with that in France? I thought any modification was illegal there

In fact, in france low springs and some others think are tolerated.
                      Here my peugeot 205 XS
                      when i bought it
after being lowered (watch the wheels ;) )

Only engine and huge chassis mods and prohibited.
for exeample, putting rear disc brakes in a 318 is prohibited...

Driving a "non conforme" car in france :
With cops, with few mods (springs) or invisible mods (crank shaft, 2.3 instead of 2.0), there are few risks. (even the brakes, cops doesn't take care about it)
If the cops notice there are important mods (a s14 or a M8 in a 316), they can take the car.
                      Putting a Turbo is impossible.

THE REAL RISK, the car insurance.
If there is a accident with your car, the insurance can be avoided. if you hit a kid or kill someone (it can happen without driving like a mad guy) YOU and ONLY YOU heve to pay for the rest of your life. HERE IS the reak risk.

if you are interrested in french mods http://www.jso.fr.st

May be, one day i'll try to put a crank shaft to provide ~170hp, like Alpina or MK did in the 80's.
                      --------------------

No, the springs were not cut, this is a JR suspension Kit, i bought the car this way.

                      -------------------
The UFO is a Citroen Xsara Picasso.

And the Naked guy is probably a guy who just ended his "sunday morning jogging".
The pictures were taken near "the chateau de Vincennes", people use to jog in the Vincennes forrest.

                      thanks for all.

                      (hope my english was right)

Dude, you have no idea how happy you should be that it has those bumpers on it. You should see what our govt did to that poor car when it came over here.
