Hi, guys.
On saturday I'm getting my first 318iS.
It is a 1990 Brilliantrot.
The car itself has done about 155 000miles, but earlier this year the engine was swapped, and I have no idea what mileage the new engine has. Still M42, though.
The previous owner installed:
- Chip (dunno which brand) which now limits the engine to 7150rpm,
- Black Diamond drilled discs
- Ferrodo ds 3000/2500 brakepads
- 4.10 differential
- 15" OZ Hartge
- JB Racing aluminium flywheel
It is quite.. Worn. The interior is great! But, the rest of the car needs some TLC.
There is a few problems with it. When you brake, it vibrates (owner says it's not the discs), the springs and dampers are for a six cylinder E30, so they are a bit.... Shitty. And some other "minor" things.
I'll post some pictures for you when I get home from work!
