so I got my seats back last night from SFGadgetGuy and I LOVE them! I also got my door cards from brandon11130 the same day. everything seems to be coming together. I started painting my valence for the bumper swap. havent gotten it fully painted yet but I thought I would post some pics of the progress.
here are the new seats and door cards. all houndstooth but we could not get the orginal hounds tooth for the seats because no one makes it anymore but clyde found some moderatly simular material that looks great and is just a smaller version of hounds tooth.
here is a pic of the material used on the seats close up
I love it all especially the head rests in the rear seat. everything turned out great and Clyde (SFGadgetGuy) was reallly easy to work with and does great work. thanks man
and here is the valance progress
taped off an area to paint in
sanded down the bumper and here is the first coat of primer with filler
the filler didnt work so well so I sanded it down and put glazing spot puddy on it and let it dry over night (much over done but I had to stop in the middle of it)
and then put on a final coat of primer but have to wait for the paint to come in and then I can finish it up.
C&C appreciated. thanks.
EDIT: next thing is to paint the actual bumpers and the side mirrors on the car. should look clean when im all finished.
