Bringing this thread back from the dead... 8 years later and I finally said goodbye to the E30.:( But it's going to a good home.

I’m glad you took such great care of her! I sure did pick the right person to sell to. Maybe when i hit it big i will buy it back for some absurd sum. Probably in the neighborhood of 10times what i sold it for. And you got it imported to the states! Im also glad you got her back on the ring ;)Leave a comment:

Guess I should have kept this thread updated...
I finally caved a couple months ago and went with GC coilovers.

I also went and got some 17x7.5" BBS RS rims.

Finally finished up the trunk.

And got the obligatory vanity plate.
Oh, and somewhere mixed in-between all that my steering rack blew up so I swapped in a Z3 rack... Much better now. :)
And that's where I'm at now.
Pic from Bimmerfest West with both cars:

Now to save up for bags for the e30...

Got some updates today. The shiny stuff from bavauto is installed....

Also got my broken driver's seat frame repaired and I'm getting the muffler tips aligned to the M tech rear bumper. Hopefully all that will be done by next week. My Luke box is sitting on the floor in my office with amp/dsp/sub installed, just waiting for the car to get back from Schaffer's to start work on the audio.
