Hmm, I'm actually leaning towards a more open tint with a hint of blue, don't want any problem with the five-o.

Sex on wheels, trendy or not i still enjoy seeing light pics like that. They are all still different every time.

Yea that's true, I liked what top gear did with lights in the latest season, so I tried to mimic that a bit.

I think chrome kidneys would finish her off nicely

Might grab some from the local scrap yard just too see how it looks, but as someone said in this forum, tint lights = black kidneys, stock lights = chrome.

Thanks! The color really grabs your attention doesn't it? :) it's a bit rare even here in europe with the touring side skirts and it came like that from factory, anyone else know if any other color coupé came with touring skirts?


Here's some pics of the interior. I'm considering changing the steering-wheel since alcantara easily gets worned out.

The z3 1.9 shifter is about the same height as stock e30 so no height changes there.

very very nice. But three things: yes i agree that you should paint the underside of the body flat black, the part that sticks out past the sideskirts, so you don't see it. Also, don't get bigger tires, lower it instead. And third, the interior looks awesome, but not so sure about the blue shift boot. The color is a bit off, maybe it should be black or the same blue as your e-brake boot.

Other than that, extremely clean car, and i love those wheels!!

Thanks, it's all stock as far as I know, haven't seen it anywhere either.
I think they released a couple of these gletscherblau e30s during 90-91 with touring skirts, blue interior, blue seatbelts! which I've not seen elsewhere either.

This guy is like the only other guy I've seen with this combo.

I've got working on my speaker setup for the rear shelf, the previous owner had a blast tearing thru it, here's a pic:





So I have worked all day and come up with this to cover that shit!





I'll put them on tomorrow.

I'm quite satisfied with the result myself, after all it's my first time playing with car speakers =)

I just hope the fabric matches with the shelf :), how does it look?

Oh and funny thing is, the speaker color is almost the exact same color of my car, I bought them without thinking about it =)

Thanks everyone! I might do a light blue tint cause the windows look a bit more dark in the pics than what they are IRL, must be the reflection...

Got around mounting the speakers today, pulling speaker wire to the trunk is a bitch! Well not that bad but I messed up so I had to de/mount the back-seat twice

I'm satisfied with the result, could have been better, but since the rear shelf was so butchered this will have to do.








They sound great but a bit harsh now since they're brand new, they'll probably get a bit softer after I've used them a while.

Anyone got a blue seatbelt for the back-seat? springs were broken in one of them so I'm missing one, or can they be repaired?
