NJGreenBudd's First Post, First BMW, First Pics

Hey guys. First post here, I just bought this 1987 325e yesterday. Its a 2 door 5 spd I found on craigs list, after a couple emails I decided to go test drive it. All in all it's in pretty good shape for it's age, the paint is good and there no rust. A few small dents in the front fenders, needs front brakes and a new muffler. Other than that it runs great, shift clean and feels pretty solid overall. I test drove it through town and then got it up to highway speeds, it seems like a well kept car.

    I have a few questions:

What cat and muffler would you reccomend for this?

I need a new lip for the bumper as it's missing on mine, which lips will fit? is it only the e model lip or will one from another model E30 fit?

Nice start. Motor looks good. A 325es front spoiler would look nice on it.

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

Thanks guys! Looking forward to driving this 325 a lot this summer/fall.

I don't know whats happening in that pic other than the car sitting there after the test drive, seller was closing the trunk and my friend is standing on the sidewalk.

Whats with the video? This is some BMW joke or legit ADD??

You could do this, but the rear takes a bunch of custom work... so unless you have the means to fabricate, go with the es.
