The e30 as of today: Weekend/DE car

So once I got my e36 it became the exclusive daily driver allowing me to register my e30 as historic and take it in a new direction. I will slowly be finishing this car for some serious track time/HPDE's and Autocross. Hopefully by next spring it will have the seats, harnesses, rollbar, camber plates, and bushings replaced. Steering wheel and 'real' track pads are on their way.

    just taken this afternoon:

some of you may remember my ///m pinstripes, took them off for a new color scheme that will be going on the car.

    zoom-zoom-my friend's p5

please ignore my rust, i do. New exhaust from headers back with Vibrant streetpower muffler, its loud as fack.

    where the magic comes from

226whp with old exhaust. Future engine mods will include cams, headwork, springs and lighter weight possibly solid valvetrain, custom tuning, oil cooling set-up, pullies, upgraded throttle body, intake filter isolation, and clutch/flywheel upgrade.

I'd like to hear it with this new exhaust. And see the car run, i remember the car running pretty good when you had that DIY meet.

put a clamp on your intake where the silicone hoses meets with the HFM. I know it's a tight fit, but you don't want any unmetered air getting in after the HFM

ha, I dont think any gauge in the instrument cluster works correctly. I'll be getting a new one shortly but I do have my oil pressure/temp gauges to keep an eye on the motor. I'll get a clamp for the boot, just in case but yes it was a damn tight fit.

Jason, im always around weekends for some gtg's. Im not sure when I'll be racing next, probably the chapterfest autox. I'll be at summit point for friday at the track oct 16th.

Dan, I'm always up for e30 work.

I would ultimately like to see 250whp someday. Learning how to drive it will come first though.
