Thanks its a track only car so my goal was loud and obnoxious (to attract sponsors). but I am actually turning this one in to a rally car so need it street legal again. And the eta coupe i just bought is gonna be the new drifter. So its time for the loud green to go and maybe a fresh interior. not a full interior though just something to dress it up a bit. like I don't know maybe a dash lol.

i was just thinking about to ask about that exhaust "what cop´s say about that?"
but then i noticed this is a track-only car.

in finland MOT inspectors are so accurate about these "tuned-up" cars,and here it wouldnt pass the mot with that type exhaust.

and if you drive around car whit that kind of a exhaust pipe and cop´s instantly pull you over and literally "rip out their asses"

i asked mot inspectors that if i put my wastegate "exhaust" like that,and they say "we take immeadidly your license-plate´s"

kind of a customer-service people.;)

do you know what kind of a compression-ratio you have inside your motor.?
how´s motronic is working at boost.?
how much boost you got.?
have you drifted it allready at track.?

steering is stock with spacers for a bit more on the turning radius.

compression with the "i" head is down I'm not sure how much (need to do the math)
and I can feel the loss of power on the low end but top end REALLY makes up for it.

I am actually switching to MS for managment. I would like to be able to tune more than just fuel pressure. but to be honest the motronic hasnt given me any problems. I run a 14.7 fuel ratio at idle and cruise. in mid boost to full boost it will get to about 10.2.

I started off running 8 psi and since I put head studs and a mls head gasket. with the studs torqued down to 75 psi i am now running 22 psi on 96 octane pump gas with no detonation.

I have competed in about 10 drift events and it performs excellent. It does get a bit bouncy when coming out of a slide but I think some fresh shocks will help that.

I will take some pics of the motor today and post up.

yeah the green and the rims I hate. that's what happens when you let your buddy that's a apprentice painter and has "left over" green paint.

I am seriously thinking of just rattle canning it flat black again.

but basicly its just something to hold my motor till I can find the right coupe to drop it in.

jajjaa great thread. I know a guy running a side exhaust like that on his turbo e30... which to my surprise, its not very loud... and oh boy he nearly died after the first event becuase left hander turns pumped all those exhaust funmes into the cabin lol

hehe this reminds me a lot of my build! now lets see some actioooon!!! just screams toy car. i hear ya!
