NASA GTS is a nice way to go with the Power/Weight classes. SE30 would be an engine-swap for you anyway. SCCA has IT classes for the e30, too. Look into those rules to get a good idea of where you want to go.

Hey, I DD a stripped car. No AC kinda blows, but I live in Houston heat. It's noit that bad, and all the stuff you can sell off the car will give you extra cash to put into go-fast stuff!

Oh yeah I DD a Miata track car for three years, my first car when I was sixteen was an ITC Civic my dad and I built, I DD that lol, first car I got with A/C I stripped it out two days later. lol.

I am leaning towards GTS, it fits the mods I'd like to do and allows some room to play. I don't care to be competitive in it as I am doing other series with other cars so this would be more of a track time/fun/whatever car, I'd like to run enduros too.

I hope you run over a small animal or speed bump and knock that thing straight off the car, when you replace it with something proper you'll understand

Where you at Formula Drift at Road Atlanta? If you were, I think I saw you there. Anyways, I dig.

Funny you say that, I hit a dead animal the other day, didn't mess the lip up, did get stuck at the back of the car though, lets just say under my car is clean as a whistle now LOL.

What do you mean proper? Why would I understand then? Have you seen race cars? Half of their lips are not OEM.

Yes the car was at Drift Atlanta, however I was not the owner at the time.

                      ROFL that's too bad...
That's really funny you say that, because as I was typing I was thinking 'i bet this dude will have an animal story'

When I say proper i just mean a lip that's supposed to be on there. btw, I am not a fan of the volvo mod also, but I'll happily sell one to someone ;)
I have seen many race cars and participated in a few races myself my friend and only twice did I see 'perpetration'. Only once before did I see a bastardized lip from a jap car on a european car, the only difference was that dude was making excuses about his monstrosity.

With all of my criticism, the car is yours and it's not mine. You're the only one driving it, so to each their own! And too add the car has a nice aggressive stance, if you really like red the wheels work too! I'll be interested in following any updates you post about this car!

Thanks, as for having Jap parts on a Euro car, it's just an E30, not like it's a high class Lambo or something lol.

The lip works, and I think with some tweeking I can make it functional too. The red wheels will probably be painted sometime, and for track I will have some better wheels.

They're actually quite expensive. Your looking at close to $110 (they should include shipping with a price like that) for a mint volvo lip. Saves your some money for the even more expensive version. I have a mint one hanging on a wall in my garage if your interested... I can do $95 shipped. Oh and the mounting hardware is another 15 to 20 bucks.
