However, the ladies prefer the E36. I used to have a strong dislike for them too but once you drive one everyday, it's harder and harder to get back into the E30.

not true. id prefer the e30 m3 as my everyday car. i love that fucking thing. however, the e30 hates to be DD'd, so it isnt.

I swore that would happen after I drove my mom's E46 5-speed everyday for a couple weeks, but it only made me hate it that much more. An E36 M would probably ruin me though.
Nice ride Smoove1, those wheels are badass. Get some 255's on them. 8)
Nice car, not to steal your thunder but are there any better pics of the black one in the middle?
The debate rages on. After driving an E36 M3 for months it was soo welcome to be back in the E30, now I will admit it was unfair since the E30 is a 'little' modified but its more visceral. I can see the attraction of a newer bimmer as a daily though. The E36 and E46 are far more comfy if you had to just to duty with it. Girls also seem to prefer a quieter car that glides over bumps and the E36 (even modified) does a much better job of that.
If you ask me (which you didnt but Im gonna say it anyway) you should just skip doing the S50 and M50 swap and just directly swap the S50 to the E30 and keep the E36 smooth. The E30 was made for the S50, it jumps up like an eager puppy when you stab the throttle.

Here you go Ryan...
This M3 ran a 13.5 1/4 mile time. I've seen the time slip. It's only has bolt on mods too. But I'm sure the drag radials help too though. The owner's name is Serge. He's a member on this board too. He also has a 1987 325is that is undergoing a auto to manuel swap. FI will be coming soon for his E30 aswell.
