    325i M-technic II

    Wow, looks really good in white! I have the M-TechII in black, it doesn't look as good! Too many details are hidden in the shadows. Congrats on a job well done!8)

      but why an m60b30 ? get a b40 man.. all the trouble swapping when there's a near identical motor with more hp available :S

          Its illegal in finland(+25% power is legal) it sucks i know... But when vehicle inspection with 3.0 liter is completed, 4.0 is possible after that because it seems identical.. You understand?? :)

            Here in finland you cannot get MOT´d your e30 with 4.0 motor.
            dont know how things are in america,but here to build up you car is highly limited.

            In finland you can put legally on your e30 ~3.2litre engine.
            and the max horsepower is limited to about 230bhp.

            (compared to 320is) (italian M-3)
            you cant use ///M-3 to compare at e30,because MOT-ispectors says that E30 ///M-3 is not actually compared to "normal" E30

            So biggest engine limit comes 2.5i (m20b25) (+25%)
            (or was it 325e.? 2.7i not so sure about it,right now)
            and horsepower limit comes 320is (s14/191bph(?) (+20%)

            And these same "measurement" is also including if you are turbo-charging your car.
            and you have to prove to MOT-ispectors that your 2.5i turbo e30 doesn´t have over 230bhp. :D
            so you have to dyno your car before MOT,and show dyno papers to inspector.

            i dont know do you understand a word i´m saying,but try to understand that i´m not so good explaining things.

            so if your car are less than these values are,you have legal car.

            but it´s pretty easy to tie down your boost controller boost at dyno run,and after "MOT-papers" you can dyno at full boost. but dont show this "full-boost" paper to your MOT-inspector.8)

            and allways you can hit your block smaller block´s numbers

            oh,god.. did i just wrote a novel.? how the hell this end up so long story.

            well thats why DISKOHAI is installing a 3.0i V-8,instead of 4.0 V-8.:)

                  your english isn't as bad as you think. I couldn't imagine such laws here! Are supersport motorcycles legal in finland?

                    Ok, I understand.. that sucks. Still going to kick ass with that torque.
                    I'm in iceland where we can swap in an s62 and turbo it with out anyone at the MOT places giving a shit 8)

                              i dont know bike laws so much.
                              all me knowing is just about heard from co-workers.

                              they said that to build up bike is even more highly limited than to build up car.

                              i´m glad i can stick with cars,and dont have to get with bikes.;)
                              i dont have nothing selfcontrol when i jump on a bike.
                              last summer is good reminder for it.

                              i did test my friend´s 450cc 4-stroke dirt-bike and i had to trick with it and i chrashed it. bike got few scrathes but pavement eated to elbow to fingers allmost all skin from my left hand,and left leg had really bad scrathes from my sock"line" to boxer"line".

                              it´s all better now (only pale marks) ,but then i desided that bikes ain´t my thing.:D
