I logged in just to say I love what you did so far.... I would go lower in the front and rear and possibly get smoked turn signals and side markers. Nice work.
-the FKs ride really nicely. when i was on the stockies with the bigger tires it was still decently low and it rode and handled amazing, plus there was a lot of ground clearance so it was worry free. as of right now i've got about 10 threads (1.25") left up front and the rears are almost bottomed out. i need to remove the perch lock ring in the back to get another 1/2" out of it. the ride is a lot more harsh down this far with the small tires, but just for reference rides lightyears better than my vw did on coils. i do plan on adjusting the height a bit more.
-the gold color on the wheels is not really what i would prefer, but i wanted to avoid having to take the lips off...it was a budget refurb. i would have preferred silver or light grey. i knew id end up dropping more money than i wanted to on them if i did that, and these are just temporary, im probably gonna sell them over the winter.
-overall this is just a temporary look, a way to make it look decent and have some fun while i was taking care of maintenance and refreshing stuff that really needed taken care of. i've got some more stuff to take care of this winter, but i got the interior mostly sorted out. the water leaks solved, suspension up front totally refreshed, and a ton of other odds and ends. drive shaft, rear subframe, and engine will be addressed over the winter months.
