This is a s52. You see the lump on the front of it? that is the vanos unit. If you look at the picture of your car there is no lump.

Its not an s50 unless he put a m50 NV head on it along with a few other things. But you can get the vin off the block and run or I think is the 12th number back is the engine number (I think) You didnt get ripped off that bad ethier.

Well see as the car sits I would stay far away from it. It all depends on what you want to use the car for. Right now I am building my car for a SC because I plan on using it for track use.
