As in the one before the last gen. The new WRX and STi are the 2 of the ugliest cars on the market.

It is better when you put all the goodies from a JDM 2006 STi RA into an early 1st-Gen Legacy :) It was huge fun chopping Porsche Turbos and new STis in this thing

Correct! The hatch is OK, but it looks too much like a Focus RS to me for it to feel like a Scooby anymore... Don't even get me started on the Impreza Sedan... Just no.

The top pic (hawkeye) was mine. Pic was after returned to stock, from my FS pics. The 08 isn't optimal looking in my eyes, but it was a quick search. To be honest, I'm going to be buying another STi down the road and will look for an 07 / 08 (or a properly swapped late 90's / early 00 body style). I miss my Subaru

Why would you pay 35 grand for a scooby? I would much rather by a new 3 or 1 series or maybe a new truck. And yes I stand by and still stay its a waste of money sence my car walks all over the scooby that comes to pir. Last I checked I have spent under 10k on my whole car and he has spent over 45k. 8-)

Man I would never make that trade, would be nice to have a little rs as a daily, but I couldn't live with it ALL the time.

I dont think you can even compare a e30, 1 or 3 series to a sti, they are not even the same type cars. With that said a sti or wrx is not for everyone but they are defiantly a good value for the money.

I think the 08 and newer ones are sexy!

I do hate the available powerband however, but then again I'm a huge fan of N/A power. ;)

Nice pick up Erik. I'm not a fan of any scooby made after '05 aesthetically, except for the last generation STi. Have fun with it. :D
I'd be curious to drive one.
