Non E30 Content: The $5k E46 Wagon Project

So I love wagons (see my old e39 wagon) and came across a one-owner, fanatically-maintained ZERO-option 2000 323iT wagon a few months ago and paid $5k for it:



Yeah, not even cruise control on this thing. Then I set about modifying it as cheap as I could, seeing as the vert took up a LOT more freaking money than I budgeted for (imagine that). Then I tinted the windows and got a UUC spring set to use on my stock shocks. Added my old stockers from my now-departed E46 M3 cab:



Didn't like the stockish look, so I took it up another level after I was EUI'ing one night (eBaying under the influence) and paid too much for a nice set of staggered 16" RS'. Refinished them with fresh paint and polished the lips up, cleaned the bolts, yada yada. Added smoked corners and blinkers, a front delete panel for the plate and came across a used set of DDM coilovers on e46fanatics and here is the result:













So that's how she sits now. Yes, she's daily driven and no, the tires don't rub, just the sideskirts! Planning on smoked tails and maybe an M Tech 2 bumper, but I'm in no hurry. She doesn't look too bad for having 185k on her, does she? :)

what size are they, wheels and tires?

i too, have an e46 touring, same set up: no cc, no sunroof. black on black, with an mtech bumper and 17x8 style 5. definitely not as low as this!
