Will feel alot different once you do the suspension. vert's really feel like a boat compared to a 2dr. While you at it. upgrade to a e36 rack and pinion. also makes a difference

Does the top work? Yeah, It felt sluggish and heavy compared to my light eta.

The top does work and my eta isn't stock but still slow. I think i just don't even remember what a stock e30 feels like too so the suspension probably made it feel boaty.

You test drove it? LOL. For 900 I would have just paid and ran away with before the seller realized what was happenning.

          Congrats!!!

Thanks, it was definitely the least time i had ever spent looking at a car. I didn't even check a lot of the usual stuff that i would. Just a 5 minute test drive and a low offer. He said ok to 900 really fast so i think i could have even got it for 8. Just talking to the owner assured me that it was solid.

Car is home and safe, now time to sort out all the problems. Needs rear passenger window motor. Needs hood repainted or replaced, front right fender could use replacement. Rod that snaps over a ball in the top mechanism keeps popping off, top doesn't go down enough to latch all the way. Needs shift knob, have to install radio. Definitely have my work cut out for me. Anyone know a good way to upload lots of photos at once so they can be shown in this thread? I only know ways to do them one at a time.

In a straight line this thing really pulls harder then my frankenETA. Either the 3.73 makes a big differance or my ETA runs like shit.

No fucking way we have the same car! Same exterior/interior!!!! I can see the front part of the car has the pin stripe but the rear section doesnt.... Top looks new! I cant believe I have a twin! This is exciting, its so rare to see an E30 with gray interior. Heres mine:

Thats true but the auto does pull pretty hard. Your almost there! That is a great base to start, just fix up a few things and you have an awesome car. Nice find dude!

That is an AMAZING deal. My first e30 vert cost me exactly 10 times that. However, this was many, many years ago and it was pristine. You found an awesome deal! That said. I will give you 1 K for it as it sits.
