eh i can respect the work but would prefer to see polished lips.....wont be much contrast between the tire and the lip. I always thought it looked funny with black lips.

He said he's going to run streched white wall tires
I really like polished lips too-- see my M3. but these are for my daily car and I don't feel like polishing/cleaning them every couple of days. plus everyone has polished lip rims.
yeah, I ground off the Keskin with a grinder then sanded it smooth. the bolts were taped off-- what a PIA!
I want to let the wheels really dry for a bit before I mount a tire on them- a few days atleast. they were painted with automotive paint.
Will automotive paint hold? I painted mine with engine paint and used engine clear coat. They lasted a few months before the paint started to give way. I figured engine paint would hold up better than automotive paint to the heat and abuse.
You used paint gun automotive paint right, not rattle can?
I am interested to see how these hold up.
I am about to paint mine again with engine paint, but use duplicolor clear wheel paint on top of it all. Maybe I should just spray my wheels when I spray the rest of my car?
West German BMWs, they just don't make the same as they did before the wall fell.
^Case in point: Auto-Repair Technology. Everytime my car isn't starting or acting up I let it sit, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days. But it eventually fixes itself.
