    Car looks great!

"Any other cabrio owners have this problem? Since I only have one deck lid shock, it skews the decklid by pushing it up (you can see its not flush with the body). I have to take out the strut to make it sit flush. Its like it has too much force in it?! All red tails courtesy of N2MYE30's painting skills. "

I have a shock on each side of my trunk.

Early cars only had one shock. My '87 only has one. I just messed with shims, the latch and washers 'til I got the trunk to sit right.

You sure that car didn't come with DB's? The tab for the DB surround is visible on the driver's side behind the rear wheel in one pic.

It did come with db's as it is(was) a US spec car that I'm converting. My mom actually bought in new back in '87. I mentioned covering the tabs up in my original post.

The rear end FOR SURE needs the plate filler, and mtech1 wing. You should be able to grind those tabs down from the old DB stuff very easily. I think I broke mine off with my hand, and just touched up over it. Couldnt hardly notice..

I would paint the muffler black, just to take it out of first glance. Maybe lower it just a tad more? Dont fuck with tail lights.

              :thumbsup
