    Trptguy's vert

Well I figured it was time to officially introduce myself. I recently purchased a 1987 325ic from a good friend. The car still needs quite a bit of work so i will post updates as they slowly happen. The zenders on the car are for sale so if anyone is looking for 15" Zenders or has something to trade let me know.

    On to the pics:

Thanks guys!!! I am hoping to do a plastic bumper conversion in the next month. I found a rear bumper, just need the front and new valence.

Looking good. So besides plastics, what else is in store?

Definitely new shoes!!! I am not really into the Zenders so that will happen. I am hoping for a full respray this winter and a redo on the interior. I have a feeling that the exhaust will be going soon, so an upgrade their will also be in order;)

Thanks man!!!! There is a ton of stuff to be done, but I think it is a decent platform to get started on.

Agree - Tuck the diving boards and paint the plastic surrounds body color (like is standard on 'verts) - smoke the turn signal and side markers and you are set! I like the old school look of the chrome bumpers and es/is air dam much better than plastics - especially on pre-90 E30's! Euro bumpers are the next step if you really want to - but really not needed if you do the DB's right.

The other fetish -- bumper tucking. And lowering. Yadda yadda.
