Looks great! There's just this soft spot I have for a low alpine on wide wheels...I don't know why.

That's a little too wide I think, I'm not really worried about the traction I just don't like how small the 215/40's look from the side. I have other wheels/tires for traction, unfortunately they are 225/50's and don't get along with the front fenders too well even with ~4* camber and an inch higher ride height. The autocross course I ran this past weekend had two 180* switchbacks and it was rough on my fenders for sure- '88 m54 coupe
