Hah this is actually pretty cool. You should drop and M10 in there and turn it into a runner... If that will even fit... maybe an old 2-cyl motorcycle engine (isetta style)

there is not enough space for such an engine. an engine of a chainsaw will fit but the car is very heavy... circa 200 kg

yes. they are hard to find and the old bumper cars looks better than the modern one. there was also a bmw or mercedes sl available. maybe i can find some pics.
