just picked up this 88 iX. snow bombin' time!
Diamantschwarz / black leatherette ... 190k on the (broken) odo. lol. sorry for the shitty cell pics, my camera ran off with some skank.
When I picked it up last friday, the paint looked like primer gray - so oxidized, you couldn't see any reflections and it felt like sandpaper. A few hours with a buffer and some compound, claybar, and wax brought it back to presentable status.
Taken care of a few things already; had a bunch of little issues that were easily fixed. Antenna stuck down, european ellipsoid headlights were adjusted for England, missing clutch pedal pad, glovebox latch stuck and broken, one seat adjustment stuck. All fixed now.
The one big problem - I got the car with a half tank of gas, filled it up the next day and BAM - fuel leak. Seems to be coming from the center bridge section of the tank. Going to have to drop it and see what needs sealing or replacing.

and a quickie vid, AWD at work. Did the jack test, looks like the VC is a bit worn but still working relatively well. I barely let out the clutch for this move.
