    Nice project!

Looks like it'll be a lot of fun when it's done. Super sleeper status.

awesome man - my shop specializes in DSMs and has several spare 4g63s layin around, i thought about using one earlier this week. Which tranny did you end up using - I noticed the custom fabbed trans support, but how much of a pain was it to find/fabricate motor mounts?

We are limited by the internal 3 bar map so we expect mid 500's on pump gas, once we upgrade to the 4 bar we can run it on kill mode. The shop AWD car makes 703 @ 40psi on Q16 race fuel basically the same engine, so we know we are capable of the same. But remember this is a street car so we will probably tune it to get some bragging #'s then turn it down in order to keep things within perspective. By the looks of things the CV joints are going to be our weak link. Ive talked to a few people who say the MZ3 stuff is stronger but I'm going to give the stockers a try before I decide on going complete custom or MZ3. Does anyone know if DSS makes anything for us? I know a guy in Canada that can probbly make some CV's that can hold up.

We started with a Magnus motorsport AWD manifold but the throttle body was facing the wrong way towards the firewall so we chopped and flipped it then reflanged it for the massive Q45 throttle body. Magnus actually sells them in the RWD configuration but we figured we would use stuff we had laying around the shop all the fab work was done in house.

We actually used stock E30 mounts modified of course. The over all fit in my opinion is better then the original motor plenty of room to work on both sides motor sits in the bay straight not tilted. The swap was easier then I had expected if you have access to fabrication tools this is a breeze. As for the transmission it is a T56 6 speed out of a LS1 F-body its made by tremec. It requires a cutom bellhousing to mate it to the 4G63. The bell housing on my car is a Prototype, there are a few in production currently if your interested PM me for more info. There's also other options for transmissions that support less power but are more cost effective.

Excellent project! I love it! Not to mention 4g63 is the strongest 4cyl motor ever built.

Havent been on here in a while heres some updated pics I will have Dyno numbers Saturday. So far I have driven it twice. Living in New England sux I dont want to take it out on our salted roads. But I couldnt fight temptation and drove it twice in 30 degree weather for a total of about 3 miles and both times got towed back to the shop due to CV- joint failure LOL. All I can say is she loves to spin the tires at 50+ MPH I can do rolling burn outs going way too fast to feel comfortable so I guess I was asking for it LOL. Video's to follow soon, the weather on Saturday supposed to be nice so I will shoot some video's if I make it off the dyno in one peice.
