Say you put the 4 lug back on... thats about a weekend full of working. (4 lug parts, trailing arms, brake lines, etc.) plus money to buy the parts.

Then what? You can sell the car for $4000-5000k and the 5-lug parts for $1000-$1500? You're still at only $6500 max - cost of 4 lug parts - cost for your time. You'd be better off selling the car for $6500.

I'm not trying to be a dick, just trying to save you time and someone a clean 5-lug car. Also, I already told you my financial situation. I would love to buy it back, but I still have my m3. I don't have the money for the car.

Cool cool, but do you honestly think that koni SA's, good springs, e30 M3 sways, and all is only worth 1.5k? It seems like I could get more for all of it, hmmm. Who knows, but your right though, time is money and I definatly dont wanna spend the time to swap it back to 4 lug.

I don't think he is trying to make a buck. He paid a premium last year, when the economy was about to take a huge dump, and now the potential buyers of a 9K 325is with E30 M3 5 lug have since dried up.

In all seriousness you can't get mad about that kind of stuff, if it bothers you that much, buy it back. I was sad about one of my cars being parted after I sold it a while back, then I realized I could just buy another one and do it again if I really wanted to.

I actually had about 3 people wanting to pay that within about 2 weeks of having the ad up. He was the first to contact me so I gave him the opportunity first.

It doesn't bother me that much, just wish it could stay together b/c its nearly perfect. Its just funny that someone would pull apart a clean e30 just to make a buck.

Life's hard, do what you have to do to get by, in the end its just a car. I understand that.
