    The Germans

So I was coming back from a VW show in my '65 (Fall in Englishtown NJ at Raceway Park) and seeing my e30 parked on the street I just couldn't resist the photo op!

Not the best quality but eh what the hell!

    Hope you enjoy...

I've actually done a lot to the e30 but the car just needed so much work :(

I tackled mostly mechanical stuff first

        So far...

I built the 2.7L budget stroker with a mark d chip.
        Threw on a 3.73LSD
        Z3 1.9 Shifter
Bumper swap (it's an 1988 Model year)
        Got some 15" ix weaves
Euro grills, euro plate filler, shadowline blacked out
Lowered it 1.25" bilsteins and vogtland springs
fleabay alpina knock off headers and freeflow catco cat
Complete interior swap (dash swap, new carpet, leather sport seats, etc.)

Here's the link to the project thread

        Big cosmetic plans coming up!

        Getting some new paint
        is front lip spoiler
        euro smileys
        hartge H27 wing

Don't worry I'm working on it guys ;)

This past sunday it wasn't an amazing turn out but there were some nice cars. The spring Englishtown show n' go is usually way better for aircooled turnout.

I'm in a club called the Central Jersey Volkswagen Society that's all air cooled...in my opinion one of the best northeast VW clubs.

                          This is the site:

Central New Jersey's Premier Vintage Volkswagen Club

If you want to see the build on my bug click on the "garage space" link and then scroll down to "Jordan Tenenbaum's '65 Beetle". That's my build progress on the bug from 2005-2007. I spent two years restoring it and finished it in '07. The pics need to be updated though...

The best site for anyone trying to get into the aircooled VW scene is ww.thesamba.com
