    Fresh meat

    Just got myself an 85 323i greymarket car with LSD and getrag dogleg tranny. Body panels are damn rusty from rock chips but the parts that matter seem good. One owner, service records, recent timing belt.


    It was running, but something happened to the ignition system so it has sat for a couple months. First things to do will be new tires and a complete overhaul of the ignition system.

    I'll try to get some photos of it in all it's rusty glory.

              Still no photos...

              Got the interior 90% gutted, so far just two speed holes 1/4 inch across, I suspect they will grow to about 6'' across for the repair. Wheels are getting nice new rubbers, all the plastic trim bits got a nice soapy bath and the 100% intact and hardly worn carpet got pressure washed.

                                              Overall photos are embarrassing, so much surface rust. Driving I-70 in CO to ski kills paint and windshields. The headlights on this car feel like sandpaper.



                                              Did I say this car has a full (I think) BBS body kit. And factory white BBS RA 14'' rims, which I didn't know were an option on the E30, thought they were a VW thing.
