From experience, the only way to get decent bass from a touring is to install 6.5" speakers in the rear doors (if you have manual rear crank windows, which 90% of tourings have)

alas, I have power rear windows. my white one had crank rears.

i finally hooked an amp up to those 8's the other day and they sound like shit. I think I'm going to ditch the spare tire, put my 10" kicker L7 in there, and get an ///m mobility kit
