My suspention is finished! (-camber plates)

Well i finally got my IE 25mm/22mm sways in. i also put in poly sub bushings and trailing arm bushings. haven't had a spare moment to adjust the links correctly since the car has to be on the ground, so ive had to take it a little easy since they could bend or break if not adjusted correctly. but the couple of times ive romped on have shown amazing results. the car just launches in the direction i point the wheel. i tried to do a little 1st gear drift last night and the car just rocketed barely leaving any rubber down.

    Here are some shitty pics

You have to drill 4 holes in your trunk to reinforce the sway mounts. the sound board or what ever it is is a bitch, one side came off in big chunks whilst the other didn't.

This pic shows where the front sway mount attaches to the front subframe . mine is a rare design were there's a little protrusion on the SF. i was told very little e30s have them and i could just get rid of it. so i made some relief cuts and hammered it down flat.

Nice work! Are you going to remove the rest of the sound deadening or no?

The iX's have that protrusion too. The sway bushing has the relief in it. I assume it's meant to keep the bushing in place.

A Heat gun will get that stuff to come up with no problems! It took me about 20-30 mins with a heat and it just pulled right up. Then I used Goof Off spray clean to remove all the nasty adhesive left over, now I have a very nice, clean trunk!

                Setup looks good!

Use a dead blow. that way it won't ding the metal.

                        Looks good OP
