i will post some today when i get it all detailed. Super clean dark grey houndstooth. The one drivers side upper bolster was replaced at one point and was a hack job. doesn't match well at all. Thats first on my list. other than that it is in perfect condition.

Besides changing the wheels, are you keeping the rollbar in?(I hope not, just doesn't really belong on a street/show/rare vehicle imho)

I'm not exactly sure about the gauges either, doesn't really seem period correct.

wheels are going, and im leaving the bar in for now. The car feels amazing as is. Evan Used the car for track days and hill climb events, thats why it is the way it is. He put 10k on it in like 10 years.

the good thing is that the bar is bolt in, and so are the pods so i can pull them when i come around.

Funny how you sold a 5lug setup and you got a replacement in a way. ;)
It's really funny because i sold that to fund the car, and evan then told me that i sold my 5 lug to a guy that was talking to him about buying the car...

im slacking by the way. i still need to get that to the station.

well lets just say i have hookups with a shop that does full restos daily.

I definitly know what your saying on the color change, but i wouldn't be scared to change it. Plus the car is in no way original. Although i am getting the original euro 2.5 with 140k.

The hard part is to really do it right you need to strip the car bare and have it completely painted inside and out. That's really the only way to do a true Mtech right imo. I would go with lachsilber or alpinweiss (I or II) or I would suggest taking a look into some e46 or e90/2 silver paints that I think would look really nice on that car. Don't go black, I'm tired of seeing people always go black, especially on such a well put together car, Japandrew's car is amazing and black always looks good for show but I'd rather see something a little different.

          Can't wait to see pics!

The euro VIN is all that counts from the motherland. ;)

M tech cars were not like US spec iS cars. They were ala-carte meaning all things came as options.

because you ordered an m tech kit didn't mean you got m tech stripes. I still have the build sheet from my euro car when I lived in Germany plus it's TUV paperwork.

What is the last 7 of the vin anyway? Maybe some one can pull up the options that were on it originally.

It doesn't belong to Evan from Cali if the po was from Oregon.

he posted it for 7500 originally and no bites so he edited it to 6. I knew about the car beforehand and when he decided to sell the car at the price i got it for i jumped on it.
