the whole car looks splendid, except the exhaust.
Yep push start. Exaust needs realigning, but I really like the way it sounds So I don't think I'll be changing it anytime soon. I might put some polished tips on it or something when The mtech1 goes on..

It better be done these holidays or I'm going to cut myself. I keep putting it off and putting it off. Jut finished exams though so I can really focus on it soon. Right along with the interior if I can afford it! But one thing at a time

      Few more pictures:

Ah fair enough - you at uni?

MT1, then interior. You know it makes sense.

              What's shipping like from Bluntech?

I have a feeling I'll have to order quite a lot from him as my local BMW mob are a pack of useless bottom-feeding pieces of rectal slag that should have run down their mothers' inner thighs or just been shot in the sheets.

I'll find out soon, he just recieved the stuff from Germany. But I bought a rear licence plate filler from him ages ago and it was $27 +$25 shipping.
BMW Australia quoted me $218 for the exact same part...

I know you have a DIY thread on the starter, but what is the start up routine for the engine? Key in to on p[osition (not start) then push button to start? And to turn off the engine?

Te button is completley redundant. You turn the key 2 clicks, then you can press the button to start the car. Then turn the keys to turn it off. Or you can just use the key like normal.
I relocated the power socket to inside the ashtray, so I can still plug in my ipod etc. So I don't have any immediated reason to remove the button just yet..

I think my shipping with be expensive (big order).
