    Now With More Valves!!

I've been working on this thing for a few months now as free time allows. There were a few bumps along the way but it is now kicking ass! I struggled for the last week or so trying to figure out why it started idling and generally running like shit all of a sudden. Turns out the clip behind the intake manifold that holds the idle control valve tube in place had broken, creating a nasty vacuum leak.

There is plenty to be cleaned up in time - my exhaust has some flexi-pipe connecting the e36 midpipe to the e30 cat, I've got no fan right now, etc but I'm really fucking happy to have it driveable - and its fast!

I'll update with some more pics/vids soon. On to some pics:D

Awesome car. Please leave the diving boards on, that's what makes it for me!

slap me thrice and hand me to me momma!

you had my dream wheels for a while and then you went and did my dream motor swap.

I wish so bad I had an S50 in my car, after driving another member's S50 E30 i am convinced it is the best engine for an E30.

Was this your first swap? how did it go? was it pretty straightforward?

DBs are staying. I've even thought about polishing them up a little. haha

Yep, first swap. It went fairly smoothly. Certainly is not a "weekend job" as some people claim - but the next one would be significantly quicker/easier. Troubleshooting problems when the car has never actually run in the new configuration was a bit of a bitch.

I live in Sarasota near the Sarasota Square Mall, but the pics are taken down in Englewood at my Dad's house. He's got the space and the tools. Are you from the area? I recognize Sebring in your sig.
