Nice pics so far.. After seeing these I suppose that my best option is going to be the 225/40 in the rear but I'm debating whether I should run a 10 or 15mm spacer in the front. I need a small spacer to clear the coilovers I think, but I want the fender clearances to be about the same front to rear.

why is a staggered setup detrimental to handling? Well i guess it increases understeer...

Non-M e30s look dumb with staggered wheels IMO. It doesn't flow with the body of the car, and it's detrimental to handling.
Gettin rid of the 9's man, sorry! I tried to like it for a while but it's just too much poke in the front. I'm going to do my best to make the staggered set look good, and I think it will with these wheels.

Staggered fitment definitely causes understeer, but if I do something dumb enough to crash because of understeer on the street then I deserve it. I've got separate wheels and tires for track/auto-x

That is pretty close to what I'm planning on. Does it ever rub in the front and what is your spring rate?

Kind of the best of both worlds. You get the big dish at the back, without the understeer. I'm running 18x8/18x9 on my E36, with 215s all around. Dead neutral handing at the track, with arch-stuffing polished lip all around.

You're retarded. On all of the single piece 16" wheels available for the e30, they all look like ass in staggered fitment.

The car posted with the Type T's on the first page looks goofy with practically no lip up front, and a bunch out rear. (no offense to the owner)

On 3 piece set-ups, where the difference is on 0.5" - 1" between the front and back, it can be pulled off.

9's all around or GTFO! :hitler:

You should just sell me this set of wheels and buy a new staggered set.
