And Rob, having a "shark nose" front end originally, I put the eye and mouth where they go on a shark. It's not right in comparison to a plane, but on the body, I think its perfect.

Next heat the oiled sheetmetal with acetylene torch and then reoil.

That will give you charcoal like finish.
