Guys......can you help a brutha out...

Here is my car.....I looked at the paint code and its Delphin Metallic. My first question is should I keep it the original color. I WANT to paint it some sort of red but I dont want to deal with painting the bay and everything else to do a true repaint. But red is soooo sexy. Ok, next question. I want an M-TECH II kit on there. I am going to go FG so I have mod options. I was heavily looking at EuroStop for the kit. Now, should I keep the metal bumpers and pull them in and then mount the kit underneath it OR do you think the all-in-one plastic bumper and valance they have looks better? The car is an 85. I was also going to get the door panel kit depending on the answers. Ugh....I have no clue. I just want to start building this thing. The motor and trans need to be pulled cause the motor is kaput. At least the head is...and the motor is leaking like a stuck piglet. Might as well freshen it up if it can. Are the body lines different from an 84-87 model and 88-9x model? Here is what I want it to look like if I can....Any valid input is very appreciated. The interior is white and will be swapped out with all black. Also, the moonroof is electric...Can anyone tell me if I can convert it to a manual crank????:weak: Oh....and ANY INFO ON THIS CAR WOULD BE SWEEET.

Well Mr. ADHD, I hate to be the one to inform you that if you want your car to look anything like that first silver mt2 sedan, you're going to spend a lot more then what you would on a turbo kit. What are your other projects? Just curious..

                              okay

                              Step 1.
Make the car move. At this point, it'd probably well worth it to go 24V with an M/S 50/52. Swaps like that are usually not too expensive, and have been done countless number of times and tons of information on the subject. M50's can be easily found on craigslist and things like that, junkyards, whatever.

                              Step 2:
Make your car look less like ass. From the looks of it, your paint is pretty rough, but maybe salvageable. Delphin is an okay colour and can be made to look good. Either detail it yourself properly, or get it done professionally(probably worth it). After you've done that, get some decent suspension. Replace most of your bushings, and get some better shocks. Billie Sports and H&R Race/IE3's will looks good, for softer more DD go for H&R Sports. As far as body kits, that needs to be last on your list. Your car doesn't even drive right now, so tackle that first. However, just to state, an MT2 kit will not fit on your car properly without a good bit of modification.

                              Step 3
Leave the interior alone for a while until you get the rest sorted out.

EDIT: Crank sunroofs suck ass. I converted mine from crank to electric, and it was a bitch. Don't fuck with the sunroof, you've got it good.

S54B32 swap in progress. Status: Getting There
