    Progress!

My E30, which I got for free 4 years ago at 98K miles has gone through many changes. It took only until this past month to finally redo the suspension on it. So far its been quite a journey...and I've had plenty of help from R3V. I am no where near finished, but it's changed significantly enough for me to make a thread.

    Benchmarks:

November 2006: Got backed into by a truck and paid out of pocket since the fucker left the scene and nobody got his plate. Broke the plastic guard on the front bumper, smashed in the hood, and broke one of the grills. Thankfully, nothing happened to the car itself.

June 2009: R3V, as seen in a thread here. Wet pavement (right where there is a relatively new cross walk too) + 5 hours of sleep + granite curbing = obliterated M20 oil pan.

November 2009: Finally got H&R sports and Bilstein sports along with all the other bushings, control arms.

The rest is just visual changes I've made based on how I felt like styling it.

I got a Reiger lip. It was the ABS plastic geniune Reiger that after 3 times of breaking with ABS plastic cement there was not hope to repair it any longer.

I got a pair of ellipsoids for free from a local guy. Cracked lenses but fully working and with really bad laminx keeping the cracked lenses together. This would only be until I could get new lenses for the smoked DIY.

Winter mode...bottle caps with studded snows and I lip.

Like I said, oblitered that oil pan.

Cruising home with other E30 owners from Bavarian Autho Show and Shine 2009.

The Hella DIY, not good bulbs until I get some of the DDM HID's, but definitely better than the Lamin-x. Thanks to Curt (Brewcity) for the awesome crosshairs!

Finally putting in my suspension with Byron's help. (E30SPDFRK, the guy with the Kramar avatar)

    And taken today!

I hope you enjoyed it...the fruits of labor are sweet but it is no where near done. Future plans: new wheels this spring, 15's, 16's, or 17's I'm not sure if you have suggestions go for it. I'd also like geniuine MHW tails or those Guten Parts tails at some point after I get the wheels too.

And if someone wants to make me a sig from a recent pic, that'd be cool too!

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

I've been wondering when these pics were going to show up. Looking good still, it looks like it settled some more since you left.

Yeah I wanted to at least wash it first, which meant having the motivation to do it on a nice day, which we hadn't really had up until this week.
