Heh, a lot of guys will tell you not to paint your trim, specially on a Alpine, anything but black. I disagree and really enjoy my trim matched. Not to mention your friends red e30. Then again, I have a soft spot red cars. I don't even usually lean towards Alpine e30's, but again, I really enjoy mine (Alpine I base, Alpine II top coat, 3 clears - PPG paint).

Good luck with your minor resto and build. These cars are referenced as "addictions" and I can't say I disagree.

I was looking at an Alpine e30 with matching trim and really liked it. And even on my friends e30 it looks good. it has a nice clean look to it. Ay send me some pics of yours, id like to see.

      Thanx

+1 on the painted trim. IMHO it looks good all white. Did mine including bumper trim, door handles and washer nozzles. Added MHW and tag filler. Shadowline and window tint give the contrast.

Additionally, I work the ER. Wear the safety gear and watch out for idiot drivers!!!!!:hitler:

            Ay thanx alot.
My cousin gave me an idea to paint a little black strip on the bottom of the rear valance and skirt, to match the front black lip.(kind of like on the MK5 GTI)
What do you and everyone else think of that?:)
