Are your brakes lights even visible?
And did you paint all your lights yellow, or was that lamin-x?
    It needs:
    ...lots of work.
Read up, and get to it!
but it's a good base and i like the shadowline. at least you started yourself off with a pretty clean example

Needs alot of TLC, but a good base to start with.

I agree with everyone to come before me. Can't say I'm a total fan of the original paint color mated to the yellow-everything-that-can-up-front. And the tail lights? I think you'd get pulled over sooner rather than later with 'em.
              Need a part? PM me.

tails just need to be buffed and they will be good, used an abrasive to clean them without thinking, no its not spay paint it is night shades. yes you can see them but from about 1000 feet behind me on a dark night im invisible..

the fronts are all lamin-x except the turn signals bought yellow lenses for them

Everything's the wrong color. The tail lights should be stock, the lights should be clear, kidneys should be chrome, and the windows should be clear.

The current look just doesn't appeal to me

Not unusual to have dark tinted windows in Florida. Actually it is pretty common and functional. I like the blue color.

BlUe, we have been organizing a group of E30s in the Orlando area. We have a good start. There are meets, drives and DIY days. PM if you want to know more.
