I have ridden quite a bit of both and perfer the smoothness and torque of the 4 strokes.
Your bike looks clean as hell! I love the graphics.

yeah I love riding my friends 450's because of the loads of torque(never ridden a 250f) but I also love the simplicity of 2 strokes, rebuilding the top end takes an hour and all the parts are under $100:razz:
right now I rebuilding the top end, repainting the frame and doing some body part swaps. Just made some brackets and now I got the new style tank and shrouds on it.

I like the 250s because I am only 5'6" and 145lbs. And this bike was a steal! $1200 runs good, only needs a fuel filter and a throttle cable. It already has pro taper bars, and a full pro circuit pipe. I got it off some guy with a farm and it looks like it has never seen a track.

I paid $1500 for mine with the TI FMF pipe, pro tapers, hand quards, radiator braces, skid plate with the second tire on the back.
What great bikes I really wanted a Honda or KTM but for the price you cant beat it.

Crazy fast huh? 225lbs and 25hp
I wish my car was as fast.

My friend has a ktm 250f, fast as hell but parts for that thing are way more expencive, on top of paying more for the bike. I really like hondas but you cant find crf250s that sell for that price unless they need to be rebuilt.

try some of the newer yz250 2 strokes. About the same weight but with around 45hp:) my little 125 weighs under 200lbs and has around 30hp(250f's have about 30hp also).

the 2 stroke power band hit is something i'll always love.

the 2 strokes are a wild ride!
I ride a yz250f myself but my buddy had a yz85 when we were younger.
you had to lean forward and hold on when it hit powerband otherwise you're doing a wheelie out of control at mach 1!
