I have been browsing the forums for many years now (mainly bf.c until I was "enlightened"). Always had a passion for BMW's, but never found myself in the shoes to buy one. Recently I have been doing a lot of work on this guys old road race style L28EFI swapped 240z, to no real avail as this thing hadn't started in a long time. I guess he got a '91 325i 2dr somewhere down the line that needed a little bit of work, and a second Bronzit '86 325e diving-board-fail-boat that only needed some pads.
He said that if I swapped the cheap kragen pads on the i onto the eta I could have the i. So fast forward a couple hours and the job is done. Sadly the owner of both cars had gone home but not before telling me to come by and pick it up whenever.
I have been delaying making this thread until I got the title switched over into my name, but the day after I did the work the guy got busted for a grow op, and should be out towards the end of this month.
Good:
-Schwarz 2dr.
-Free
-Now Im hella gangster with bottlecaps
-Timingbelt changed at 170K
-Partial service history with all of the original manuals and leather case
-Complete tool set (well, missing one thing)
Bad:
-Pass. Fender got pushed in a little next to the headlight
-190,000mi (well, thats not really bad)
-Auto tranny
-Battery
-Power Steering rack leaks
-Driver and passenger seat have multiple seat covers, all of them torn up
-Oil+Oil filter, Air Filter, Spark Plugs, Cap+Wires, basic maint.
So far I have most of the tune-up stuff covered except for Cap+wires, Got a Deka ETX16L with SAE posts, and learned that my girlfriends uncle races SpecE30's.

P.S. Anyone in Henderson/Vegas that wants to pick up an item and ship it to me for say cost + $30 for trouble?
