    first (of many?)

Well, I figured I'd post a couple pictures of the E30.

'86 325e, manual, some kind of blue, 160xxx miles, got it for a pretty good deal.

We've done the timing belt, valve adjustment, rad hoses and such, new exhaust, detailed it, and it's currently awaiting bilstein/h&rs and the interior is all torn apart for the heater core job.

Unfortunately it is not inspected, plated, or insured (I'm away at college so there's no need to drive it till summer..).. so it's solely a project right now.

Question.. does the exhaust look as if it's hanging too low?

Nice car. My first e30 12 years ago was arktisblau metallic. To answer your question, no, the exhaust looks fine. It just looks low because the early model eta's didn't have any kind of rear valence below the bumper so it just hangs out in the open. It always kind of bothered me with my car too.

I thought it was a hatchback. Freaked me out.

Please send me that car I want to do bad things to it... Euro bumpers, bbs front valance, lower, swap interior for cardinal, Ronals, etc, etc.

Love it, love it!!!! Good luck with build.

Nice starting point. Other than the cardnal, Levant's (ZM_Blue_Devil) list is pretty much comprehensive as to what must be done...

Amen to that. Looking good man! A lot of guys don't appreciate the small "ass" of the ETA's or early model e30's. I always enjoy 'em ;)

Thanks for all the positives! I wish it was a touring. Or a hatch.. that'd be interesting.

Believe me, I'm looking for Euro bumpers, Euroweaves, and it will be moar lower eventually. Its in perfect running condition now.. but just that little extra would set it off.
