Oh well, at least the radiator is really easy to remove. Most likely youd be dropping the coolant anyway (t-stat/waterpump) so its only another 5 minutes to pop out the radiator.

Pardon my ignorance but where is that washer fluid resevior from?
    Im now E30less.

I'm sure he's using just the auxillliary fan, or an aftermarket fan in front of the radiator. Less drag on the engine anyways.

Ryan it's a 325ix Washer tank. I use them quit often so didn't want to do away with the system, I just had to lengthen the wiring for the pump and level sender. The tray already has the bolt hole for it.
As for cooling I'm running a 16 3600 cfm electric fan where the Aux fan used to be. Right now the engine is actualy running to cold hence why it's running Rich.
I have it running on low speed threw the aux fan resistor right now then it will kick in on high speed at 91C but I'm going to swap the wires around so it Will run at Low Speed at 91 C then High at 99C. Hopefully that will work good. Or else I'll buy an Adjustable Thermostat to adjust when the fan kicks in and off.

Thats a "ix" washer bottle? Really? Awesome - I didn't know ix's had them there....

I haven done any timed runs. All I know is the neadle is move really fast from 50-80. Puts m20's to shame.

I love the pull in thrid gear out of corners, Which is exactly what I wanted. Once I sell some of the m20 parts I'll buy the remaining items to convert it to Motronic 1.3.
yes, that was going to ask you, what motronic system is that one?

Good luck with that. 79 m30's are the worst. Mine had the older m30 head on it and the machine shop found 5 cracks in it(they crack super easy). Plus they have the Old fuel injection. The block is the same, and you may just have the Piana top pistons which would be cool.

3rd but Like I said I didn't stay on the throttle the whole time as I had to change lines. It seems to do better in the 70 to 90 range. From 70 I can just punch it in 4th and will be up to 100 in no time at all. For my uses the m30 engine is Perfect. I just need a Limited slip diff and possibly a slightly shorter rear end ratio like a 3.25 or 3.45

Did you use the stock engine mount brakets by just drilling holes to the side more?

No those are e30.de Brackets type I for postion 2 and 3. The stock m30 brackets come now where close.
