Sure looks like a rough m3 to me, and was not a 318i so what are you talking about? -
Ok here are some more:

I know that this is the shot that most of you are having issues believing since it is super super hard and rare in conversions like this:

Trans all snug and waiting for the S14 (I already got another cross member)

KMAC camber / caster plates

Yes those are what you think

another engine shot

left over parts---cone and get them while they last

I will say that I got the car with the body already done (has some rust spots that need to be worked on). Well that's all I got and I now I see that I will have to update as things progress. Thanks for stopping in and any advice is humbly appreciated.Leave a comment:

Oh I don't have tons of photo's as I never thought to start a blog about it but I can snap some pics in the am as to where I am at and where the body is. I am now stripping the interior as I have decided to turn it into a track car but here are few:

Two s14's (one has a cracked block) and the LS1 for my future dream build RCR SLC)

OEM door cards

Yes I know they need work but I am just going to sell the OEM M3 seats as I am going to put a cage in it.

another shot of my babies

OEM M diff 4.10

OEM M trans (US 5 speed)

I am going out to the garage to snap some pice for all you non believers.be back in 10min.Leave a comment:

i want to see pics of the whole transformation;
unlike the rest, i think that homemade m3's are pretty cool....when they're done properly: ie m-drivetrain...Leave a comment:

318i to M3
Well my project started life as an 89 318i. It has gone through some various states of modification. And is now about to be finished as an M3. It has had a full conversion (suspension, running gear, and drivetrain) and has been a labour of love since I got my hands on it.
Comming from the e46M crowd this was quite a change. The peole are way way way way more down to earth and the knowledge base is vastly superior (thanks guys). I will post up more pics later (although pics can be seen on s14.net)
