just picked up a couple things this weekend to move the blue bummer along ,still need a couple more to drive it around again and a lot more to get it where I want it...oh and also the 5spd trans is going in the bron-zit as were doing a 5spd swap, the intercooler(s) is for eventually turbo charging the blue bummer on the cheap , and the 2.7L is for maybe putting it together with that "I" head and have the budget stroker...tires for the new wheel settup for now till i get the type a's for the bron-zit and get my 15's back....i think that's it.

Most of you must have had mommy and daddy pay your way through life. Not everyone is that fortunate. That or maybe you worked your way to a good spot in life. But if thats the case you started out with nothing for a while too.

I feel you, I am putting my self through school on a very limited budget. I barely make above minimum wage and started with 500 dollar beater that is coming together nicely. Everyone here hates it, but thats not the point. As long as your making constant progress it's all good.

OP... the only thing that matters is do you like your car/wheels/paint color....etc.

Many on here, and seems like more than not, would rather inflate their own egos by putting others down, or exercising a very limited perspective towards what others might find functional and desireable. Sportmax wheels for instance. A big joke, but some people, myself included, think they dont look so bad at all and better than some wheels the e30 cadre of experts approve of.

Some even extend this lack of perspective to making deals, in PM, all quite private and no reason to get pissy, but unless you speak the right words, or suck up to the right forum members.... well, suffice to say these types have little patience for anything other than what they feel is acceptable. (and you know who you are)

OP, forget what the small minded posters say, or think. Who cares....
Fact is they are just maybe big fish in a small pond, in the scheme of things inconsequential.

I remembered who I'm building the car for and started to have fun. Little small things have been happenning :so far , walbro 255, jdm knob , water pump , t-belt & tensioner, valve cover gasket ,spark plugs, optima, painted wheels , coilovers and cosmetic things here and there , made centercaps. I wish the front was lower ...the culprit is the strut mount, i'm getting camber plates which is hopefully going to make a difference in the front height... partial stripping /weight reduction....i think that's pretty much it...still got a looong way to go.

haha, i like the creativity on the center caps. i'm just gonna be honest and say i don't really feel a lot of things on this car, but i give you mad props for doing things yourself and finding ways to beat the wallet. i hope eventually it turns out to be exactly what you were hoping for. oh and those new tailights in the last picture.. why man why?!
